With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Woodcock Reeves of Swansboro, North Carolina, born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, who passed away on May 2, 2025 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rita Woodcock Reeves to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Joseph Woodard "Woody" Reeves; her parents, Charlie Woodcock and Lucille Woodcock; her sister Linda'Sissy'Jackson; and her nephew Jedadiah "Jed" Woodcock.
She is survived by: her brother Victor Allen "Bookie" Woodcock; her children, Walter Barrett Overman (Snapper) and Kelly Farless (Tim); her grandsons, Grayson and Parker; her nieces, Duchess Pittman Edwards (Robert) and Tori Woodcock Mason (Jeremy); and her husband Piedmont Vendors.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the The Cottages (103 Pelican Cir, Swansboro, NC 28584). A reception will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
