He is survived by : his wife Joyce Butts Phillips of Swansboro; his sons, Scott Phillips (Laura) of Hubert, James Phillips of Swansboro and Randall Phillips of Swansboro; and his siblings, Janice Takes (Mike) of Mooresville, Bonnie Parker of Danville, VA, Dallas Phillips of Danville, VA and Bobby Phillips (JeriLynn) of Danville, VA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
