He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Fowler and Joan Shotwell Fowler; and his brother Jimmy Fowler. He is survived by: his wife Rosa Fowler; his son James Fowler; his siblings, Joan Ruth (David) and Richard Fowler (Wilma); his sister-in-law Paola Benassi (Robert Argiro); and his siblings' children, Heather Ruth, Melissa Little, Mikayla Fowler, Ally Antipow, Brian Ruth and Christopher Fowler. He is also survived by two great-nephews and one great-niece.
