She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam McMahan and Emma Lee McMahan; her spouse Eulas Brooks; and her sisters, Addie Henson and Robbie McMahan.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Brooks (Debbie) of Tuckasegee, Karen Monteith (David) of Sylva and Pam Moody (Scott); her grandchildren, Jeremy Brooks (Beth), Jacob Brooks (Amanda), Brandon Monteith (Marissa), Zachary Moody, Megan Sorrells (Zach), Emily Cash (Jordan) and Kaitlyn Moody; and her siblings, Rebeckah Wheatley, Docia McGaha (John) and Tom McMahan. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
