He was predeceased by: his wife Glenda of Sylva; his parents, Theodore Adams and Eva Adams of Cullowhee; and his siblings, Margaret Painter (Johnny), Phyllis Brooks (Charles) and Marvin Adams (Sue).
He is survived by: his sons, Nick (Kelly) of Evans, GA and Jerry (Donna) of Bryson City, NC; his sister Genevieve Smith of Sylva; his sister-in-law Sue Adams of Cullowhee, NC.; his grandchildren, Madelyn Gregoire (Brandon), Abigail Stebbins (Jared), Grayson Adams and Hannah Sullivan (Caleb); and his great grandchildren, Chaseton, Sabelle Gregoire and Eileen Stebbins.
