She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Clawson and Lillian Clawson; and her siblings, LeRoy Clawson, Lois, Joyce Clawson and Shirley Mace.
She is survived by: her siblings, Donald Clawson (Gail) and Patricia Tucker; her sister-in-law Mary Cook; and her close friend Carolyn Frizzell. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and one great great-nephew.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be given in Brenda's memory to the Laurel Branch Baptist Church 219 Laurel Branch Rd. Sylva, NC 28779.
