He was predeceased by: his parents, Lindon Sebastian and Hattie Cabe (Rickman); and his siblings, Edwina Cabe, Ardell Edwin Cabe, Jessie, Bessie Cabe, Minnie Bell Cabe, John Lindon Cabe, Hazel Cabe, James Roy Cabe and Burton Lyle Cabe.
He is survived by: his wife June Cabe (Phillips) of Caney Fork; his children, Kathy McGuire (David) of Jackson County, Donna Carpenter (Bob) of Jackson County, Sue Dills (Terry) of Jackson County, Michael Cabe of Jackson County, Mickey Cabe (Teresa) of Jackson County, Pam Myers (Charlie) of Jackson County, Paul Cabe of Jackson County and Janet Cabe of Jackson County; his sister Leona; and his grandmother McMahan of Sylva. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
