We are sad to announce that on July 17, 2020, Ellen Jane Higdon of Sylva, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband William Lee Higdon; and her sons, Scotty Higdon, Frank Higdon and Dewayne Higdon. She is survived by: her children, Ernie Higdon (Faye Higdon), Julia Houston (Larry Houston) and Mary McCurry (J. D. McCurry). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, 21 great great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
