He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Harold Britt, Sr. and Bonnie Ingle Britt; and his former wife Alice Britt. He is survived by: his wife Lillian Britt; his children, Patsy B. Shank of Waynesville, Pamela Hensley (Sammy) of Asheville and Shane Herman Britt of Hendersonville; and his sister Joan Trexler. He is also survived by six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
