It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hilda Jean Broome of Sylva, North Carolina, who passed away on September 5, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Lee and Annie McMahan; her husband Kay; her siblings, Infant, Harry and Bill; and her mother-in-law Laurene Shelton.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Broome Cloer of Franklin, Keith Broome (Laura) of Baker, FL and Valentin Flores Paramo (Amanda) of Sylva; her grandchildren, Ale Hall (Chad), Amanda Broome, Kadin Lemesany, Bailey Cloer and Owen Broome; her great grandchildren, Brett Hall, Logan Hall, Will Cooper Hall and Kensley Hall; her siblings, Harold McMahan (Gail), Hazel Saunders (Cecil) and Tommy McMahan (Sheila); and her sisters-in-law, Mary Jane McMahan and Smoky McMahan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
