It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Ann Scanlon (Sylva, North Carolina), born in Belle, West Virginia, who passed away on March 14, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louise Semesco and Charles Semesco; her sons, Chuck, Barry and Kris Abshire; and her brother Ampy Semesco.
She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Abshire (Janet); and her grandchildren, Amy Hanson, Katie Abshire, Erica Abshire and Kristopher Abshire. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation to AWAKE or the Community Table.
