She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd Sr. Sossamon and Nancy Allison Sossamon. She is survived by: her brother Boyd Sossamon Jr. (Lynda) of Sylva; her children, Josh Gillett (Tabatha) of Sylva and Amy Scherman (Ernie) of Sylva; her grandchildren, Layla, Autumn Porter (Jake), Lyndsay and Brody (Kenzie); and her great grandchildren, Sophia and Clayton.
