She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Carpenter and Aileen Carpenter; her husband James Chastain; her siblings, Bill, Harry Carpenter, Mary Lou Ashe and Annie Carpenter; and her grandsons, Marvin Dale Prince and Ty Chastain.
She is survived by: her children, Wanda Chastain (Howard Keener) and Bobby Chastain; her grandchildren, Angela Buchanan (Earl), Steven Ashe (Sherry) and Jamie Ashe (Tricia); her great grandchildren, Jeff Buchanan, Michaela, Brandis, Carly, Ethan Ashe and Chase Chastain; and her siblings, Mildred Cole, Faye Powell, James and Ray Carpenter.
