She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Davis and Joann Smith Mathis; and her brother Ricky Wayne Mathis. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Pace; her daughters, Regina Payne Townsend (Jeremiah) of Hendersonville and Amy Payne Buchanan of Sylva; her siblings, Gracia Mathis Blackburn (Charles Howard) of Sylva and Denton Eugene Mathis of Sylva; and her stepsons, Kenneth Pace Jr. of Waynesville and Seneca Lee Pace of Waynesville. She is also survived by 7 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren.
