We are sad to announce that on August 19, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Melvin Thomas Dixon (Sylva, North Carolina), born in Richmond, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Aubrey Dixon and Edith Grigg Jones Dixon; his brother Charles Aubrey Dixon Jr (Joyce); his wife Anne Sutcliffe Hummel Dixon of Sylva; his brother Harold Dixon (Judy); and his children, Suzanne Grady (Aaron), Melvin Dixon Jr (Rhonda) and Dr. Elizabeth Dixon (Andrew Padyk) of Sylva. He was also cherished by 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Arthritis National Research Foundation of Long Beach CA.
