She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac David and Estella Buchanan (Trantham); her husband Edgar Thomas Turpin; and her son James Turpin. She is survived by: her son Daniel Turpin (Christy) of Sylva; her daughter-in-law Linda Turpin of Franklin; her friend Christine Turpin; and her aunt Christine. She is also survived by her grandchildren, step grandchildren, great grandchildren, great stepgrandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
