He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodford D. Melton and Lillie Mae Melton (Crawford). He is survived by: his wife Rose Coggins; his children, Tammy Brooks (Lloyd) and Kenny Melton (Lisa); his grandchildren, Ashley Caldwell, Kaitlyn Melton and Daniel Melton; and his great grandchild Abigail Caldwell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
