He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lee and Covia Hoglen Dillard; his wife Melissa Jones Dillard; and his sisters, Fern Raby, Shirley Brooks and Joyce Dowdle.
He is survived by: his sister Tommie Sue Curtis of Simpsonville, SC; his children, Donna Revis (Mike Revis) and Ben Dillard (Valerie Dillard); his grandchildren, Jake Revis (Hannah Doolittle), Mandy Tessin (Kevin Tessin), Faith Dillard (Jonathan Brooks) and Josiah Dillard; and his great grandchildren, Leyton Grasty and Blayke Tessin.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Nations Creek Cemetery fund in the care of Ceretta Davis, whose address is 733 Thomas Valley Road, Whittier, NC 28789.
