He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ammons and Margie Ammons of Sylva; and his brother Eugene Ammons. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Ammons; his grandsons, Sawyer, Brady and Christian; his children, Rachel Mcentire, Chuck Patterson and Jason Panozzo; and his siblings, Ronnie Ammons (Linda) of Franklin and Brenda Cope (Ken) of Sylva.
