He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Williamson and Evelyn Williamson of Sylva. He is survived by: his children, Chris Williamson of Sylva and Kimberly Beasley (Jason) of Sylva; his grandchildren, Austin Rice, Blake Beasley and Emily Keener (Max); his great grandchildren, Harper and Kimberly; and his siblings, Shirley Campbell of Virginia, Barbara Hardin (Steve) of Sylva, Nell White (Andy) of Sylva, Judy Cody (Steve) of Sylva, Frankie Hadas of Sylva, Patsi Duvall (Bob) of Georgia, Junior Williamson (Mary Sue) of Sylva and Johnny Williamson (Colleen) of Waynesville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
