She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Helen Cook; her significant other George Burgess; her daughters, Leigha Parker (Chris Manning) of Sylva, Destiny Johnson (Issiah) of Cherokee, Gabi Gentry Wang of Franklin and Carly Maples of Cherokee; and her close friend Pat Reese of Fletcher. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
