We are sad to announce that on January 31, 2020, at the age of 79, William Harold Leatherwood Jr. (Sylva, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harold Leatherwood and Sadie Deitz Leatherwood; and his daughter Theda Rudd. He is survived by: his wife Gretchen Leatherwood; his daughter Delena Jay (Graeme) of Seattle, WA; his grandchildren, Sadie and Keith Rudd; his sisters, Gail Revis and Karen Ingram (Paul) of Sylva; his parents-in-law, David Buchanan (Jeanne) of Fredericksburg, VA., Audrey La Sante of Fredericksburg, VA., Gordon Buchanan (Shirley) of Waynesville and Myrtice Brooks (Joe) of Sylva; and also Haig Rudd of Asheville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
