She was predeceased by: her parents, Carr Walker and Jessie Lee Blackwell Walker; and her son Johnny Eugene Burgess. She is survived by: her daughters, Macie McPherson Batten of Chadbourn, Sherry Jeanette Perez of Whiteville and Doria Ann Burgess Lance of Tabor City; and her siblings, Christine Walker Floyd of Cerro Gordo, Donald Walker of Wilmington and Judy Mae Walker Boswell of Cerro Gordo. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
