He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobie J. Wood and Wilma Rich Wood. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Faye Nealey Wood; his children, Donna Sue Segars (Glenn) of Hartwell, GA, Tamela Crane (Glen) of Thomasville, NC, Darlene Redding (Reggie) of Denton, NC, Melinda Chambers (Scott) of North Charleston, SC and Kevin Wood of Cardwell, MO; and his brother Charles Wood (Charlotte) of Memphis, TN. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and twenty four great grandchildren.
