She was predeceased by: her parents, Ned Watts and Gertie McLamb Watts; her husband Hubert Elderidge Smith; her children, Benny Eugene Smith and Nancy Smith Reaves; and her grandchildren, Amanda Ward and Benny Eugene Smith Jr. "PeeWee".
She is survived by: her daughter Vickie Smith Ward (Larry) of Tabor City, NC.; her granddaughter Jennifer McPherson (Rocky) of Clarendon, NC.; her great grandchildren, Acie Soles (Dustin), Trey Smith (Nicole), Angel McPherson, Ellorie Ward, Tripp Ward and Adelyn Ward; and her great great grandchild Timber Soles.
