She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Deacon Johnnie U. T. and Addie Mae Gause; her husband Rev. Tonie Vereene; her daughters, Jackie Vereene, Sylvia Vereene and Marchell Gause; her grandchildren, Tonise Hemingway (Travis) and Nicholas Vereene (Oquilla); her great grandchildren, Makayla Hemingway and Karson Vereene; and her siblings, Douglas Gause (Carolyn), Johnny Gause (Sylvia), Lester Gause, Rudy Toomer, Magdalene Lofton (Gene), Loumina Vereen and Eunice Boyd-Ishman (Earnest).
