She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Jackson and Evelyn Jackson; her husband Donald Edward Rose Sr. (Kenneth Ralph Loy); her son Thomas Perry Rose; and her brother James "Butch" Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Donnie Rose (Leslie) of Marion, Denise Anderson (David) of Tarboro, Renee Rose of Tarboro and Evelyn Phillips (David) of Pinetops; her grandchildren, Scott Fleming (Melissa), Jeremy Fleming (Tiffany) of Macclesfield, Michelle Overturf (Logan) of Marion, David Phillips (Sarah) of Rocky Mount and Nichole Phillips of California; her great grandchildren, Jacob Fleming, Taylor Fleming, Stella Fleming, Waylon Fleming, Chance Myrick, Savannah Cratt, Enix Overturf, Relm Overturf, Wake Overturf and Vire Overturf; and her siblings, Peggy Baggett of Tarboro, Connie Forbes of Wilson and Wayne Jackson of Rocky Mount. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
