She was predeceased by: her husband William Edward Coggins; her son Rocky Coggins; and her siblings, E. J. Harris, Raymond Harris, Henry Harris, Linwood Earl Harris and Edna Harris.
She is survived by: her son Rudy of Pikeville; her siblings, Eunice Mae Bell of Belvoir, Irene Nichols of Conetoe, Pearline Hamm of Tarboro, Wanda Suggs of Rocky Mount, Kathy Bottoms of Rocky Mount, Kenneth Harris (Barbara) of Tarboro and Bruce Harris of Rocky Mount; and her sister-in-law Hazel Perkins of Rocky Mount. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the Susan G. Komen Foundation or a charity of choice in memory of Barbara.
