She is survived by: her mothers, Pearlie Ray Brown and Betsy Smith Brown of Chocowinity, NC; her stepchildren, Donelle Cherry of Tarboro, NC and Sara Fleming of Durham, NC; and her siblings, Terry Smith of Winterville, NC, Theotis Brown of Washington, NC and Tyra Brown of Grimesland, NC. She is also survived by eight step-grandchildren, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
