He was predeceased by: his son Andy. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Whaley Forrest; his son Cecil "Boot" Forrest, Jr. of Pinetops; his stepchildren, Heather Harris Ellrod (Benjamin) of Macclesfield and Johnny Lee Harris (Jenny) of Tarboro; his grandchildren, Pickle, Fatman and Jax; and his close friend Richard F. Howard, Sr. of Macclesfield. He is also survived by relatives and family friends.
