She is survived by: her husband Eddie Boddie of Tarboro, NC; her children, Donell Black of Tarboro, NC, Melvin Black of Pittsburgh, PA, Annie Evans of Tarboro, NC, Patricia Black of Tarboro, NC, Debbie Higgs of Tarboro, NC, Maxine Anthony of Scotland Neck, NC, Sharron Lewis of Rocky Mount, NC, Rochelle Williams of Rocky Mount, NC and Lakeisha Black; and her siblings, Donnie Ray Black of Pittsburgh, PA, Jessie Mae Jones, Annie Black of Virginia and Doris Cephus of Tarboro, NC. She is also survived by relatives and friends.

All services are private due to COVID-19, the governor has asked that all gatherings only have 50 people.
