It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Baker Keel (Tarboro, North Carolina), born in Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on April 16, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmy Baker and Effie Baker Bass; her husband Roy Keel; and her siblings, Brantley Baker, Archie Baker, Phil Baker, Doris Proctor, Christine Baker and Peggy Bachelor.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Keel Mitchell (Clay) of Tarboro, Cindy Keel Webb (Duane) and Wendi Keel Lewis (James) of Tarboro; her grandchildren, Leslie Lunsford (Jeff), Chris Mitchell, Royce Webb, Nick Webb, Tyler Lewis and Joshua Lewis (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Logan Lunsford, Anna Grace Lunsford, Rorie Lunsford, Kaleya Tyson and Ian Lewis; and her sisters, Bonnie Whitley of Wilson and Phyllis Britt of Wilson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
