He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Maynard and Bertha Maynard of Raleigh, NC; and his sister Dorothy Lee Maynard Riddle of Winston-Salem, NC. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Lou Jones Maynard; his daughters, Gail Maynard Boaz, Ramona Maynard Metts (Jack) and Lou Maynard King (Ted); and his grandchildren, Ruth Tarleton, David Boaz, Hailey Desselle, Amber Metts, Cassie Reese and Claire King. He is also survived by four step-great grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
