He is survived by: his wife Mattie Bynum of Greenville, NC; his sons, Bishop Percell Cooper of Greenville, NC, Pastor Norvell Cooper of Greenville, NC, Donald Ridley of Gatesville, NC, Joe Michael Bynum of Clayton, NC and Melvin Andre Bynum of Falkland, NC; and his siblings, Rufus Bynum of Greenville, NC, John Bynum of Greenville, NC, James Dwight Bynum of Silver Spring, MD, Reverend Terry Bynum of Falkland, NC, Emma Reid of Temple Hills, MD, Marjorie Bynum of Greenville, NC, Ellen Johnson of Richmond, VA and Angel Staton of Robersonville, NC. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
