He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Adams and Barbara Adams; and his brother David Adams. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Reeves Adams; his sons, Michael John Adams (Stacey) and Nicholas Harrell (Leslie); his grandchildren, Caleb Adams, Conner Adams, Chase Adams, Zoe Harrell and Sam Harrell; and his siblings, Pat James (Ernie), Bonnie Owens (Melvin) and James Adams (Susan).
