It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julius Leggett Sr. (Tarboro, North Carolina), who passed away on February 17, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Garnie Montgomery Leggett and Annie Bradley Leggett; his wife Mary Thompson Leggett; his children, Tracy, Curtis, J. E. Leggett, Jr. and Susan Leggett Williams; and his grandson Blake Williams.
He is survived by: his close friend Lillian Kirkland of Tarboro; his sons, Daniel Leggett of Tarboro and Richard Leggett of Tarboro; and his grandchildren, Christie Leggett of Tarboro, Daniel Leggett, Jr. (Janet) of Conetoe, Mary Beth Zuker (Matt) of Clarksville, Tenn, Amanda Whitt of Alabama, Chris Leggett of Alabama and Brenna Woods of Alabama. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
