With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louise Purvis (Tarboro, North Carolina), who passed away on May 12, 2018 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her children, Gilbert Lee Pettaway, Jesse Ray Purvis and Dorothy Louise Dixon of Greenville, NC; and her siblings, Kenneth W. Pettaway of Greenville, NC, Marshall G. Barnes of New Britian, CT, Elizabeth Gardner of Rocky Mount, NC, Rosa Lee Pettaway and Mary Louise Smith of Greenville, NC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
