With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary (Thomas) Summers (Tarboro, North Carolina), born in Frederick, Maryland, who passed away on September 7, 2019 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bradford B. Summers; her parents, John Butler and Mary Catherine Summers Thomas; and her sisters, Lena Mullican and Katherine McHale.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jane Marie Bryttan of Ottawa, Julia Summers Tapp of Cary, NC and Judy Catherine Tant of Greenville, NC; and her grandchildren, Drew, Missy, Sarahcate, Colby and Ava. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family will accept flowers or memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Diabetes Association.
