She was predeceased by: her husband Curtis H. Whitley; her son Ronnie Whitley; and her grandson Chandler Blayne Thompson. She is survived by: her children, Mary Ann Thompson (Kenneth) and Kenneth Whitley (Sheila) of Chocowinity; her daughter-in-law Hazel Whitley; her grandchildren, Carter Thompson (Michelle), Sabrina Thompson Lancaster (Reed), Melissa Cannon (Michael), Kevin Whitley, Lisa Cratch (Steven) and Josh Whitley; and her great grandchildren, Chelsea Smith, Cody Cratch, Summer Whitley, MacKenzie Thompson, Gracyn Thompson, Matthew Cannon and Mason Cannon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Brentwood Pentecostal Holiness Church, Tarboro, N.C.
