She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas Howard and Dorothy Allen Howard. She is survived by: her children, Willie J. Johnson, Jr. of Washington, DC, Margaret Johnson Proctor of Waldolf, MD and Dorothy Johnson Harley of Tarboro, NC; and her sister Catherine H. Yarrell of Tarboro, NC. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, thirteen great great grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
