He is survived by: his parent Ralph Hinton Hodges, Jr.; his sister Lou Hodges Cleaver (Eric) of Manteo; his godmother Ann Carr Shaffer Stroud of Greensboro; his stepdaughter Lauren Rutherford Perry (George) of Colerain; his stepgrandson George "Ivey" Perry IV; and his nephews, John Eric Cleaver, Jr. of Stumpy Point, Ralph Hodges Cleaver (Brittany) of Manteo, Kai Cleaver and Ryland Cleaver.
