He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Rob" Lee King, Sr. and Mabel Louise Stokes King. He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Lee King Barfield (Kenneth); his siblings, Ann King Proctor (Albert) of Tarboro and William "Bill" Henry King (Cindy) of Mocksville; his former wife Trudy Lee Trevathan; and also Jackie Knight.
