He is survived by: his wife Carol Padgett; his children, Dee Alford, Melinda Gaye Johnson, Mackenzie Johnson, Matthew Johnson and Jimmie Johnson; and his siblings, Margaret Pearson, Shirley DeBruhl and Tony Padgett.
