He is survived by: his wife Deborah Newton Holloman; his children, Billy Ray Smith, Jr. (Annette) of Knoxville, Brandon Lee Smith (Kaitlyn), Michelle Rawls and Johnnie Creech (Tonya); his grandchildren, McKenzie Smith, Ryleigh Smith, Autumn Smith, Grayson Johnson and Elizabeth Smith (Sticky); and his siblings, Linda Jackson (Vern) of Tarboro, Kathy Wall (Jerry) of Chocowinity, David Holloman (Ellen) of Tarboro, Jerry Holloman (Patricia) of Tarboro, Anthony Holloman of Tarboro and Patrick Holloman (Connie) of Tarboro.
