It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Byrd Jr. of Tarboro, North Carolina, who passed away on September 17, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Marie Byrd; his children, Jeffrey Byrd Hollywood (Maria) of California, Tonja Autina Byrd, Denecia Powell, Cassandra Powell-Austin Baltimore (Marvin) of Maryland, Dianne Williams, Tara Clark and Severn of Maryland; and his brother Earl Byrd Baltimore (Willie Mae) of Maryland.

We will follow the COVID-19 guidelines in distancing and wearing of mask will be required for both services.

In lieu of flowers the family will be accepting monetary donations.
