He is survived by: his wife Mamie Porter; his children, Tracy Porter, Wendell Porter, Jr. of Tarboro, NC and Laura Porter; and his sister Elnora Porter of Hartford, CT. He is also survived by one grandchild, one great grandchild and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
