He is survived by: his wife Ann Craig Dawson; his children, Matthew David Dawson (Melissa), Andrew Thomas Dawson (Sarah) and Laura Marie Dawson; his grandchildren, Micah, Connor, Layla, Scott and Hannah; his sisters, Jackie Raines, Ellie Woodlief and Betty Brantley; and his close friend Linda Reid.
