He is survived by: his wife Karen Leonard of Taylorsville; his daughter Kelly Giles McFarland of Morganton; and his sisters, Diane Wiberg (Bob), Mary Simpson of Nebo, NC and Rachel Watkins of Santa Maria, CA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
