It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chatsie William Barnes of Taylorsville, North Carolina, born in Alexander, North Carolina, who passed away on September 4, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, June Barnes and Hessie Howell Barnes; and his siblings, Joyce Barnes, Lindsay Barnes and Charles Barnes.

He is survived by : his son Tyrone Barnes of Taylorsville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
