He was predeceased by: his parents, Neil Clarke and Leota Nina Holt Truax; his wife Joanne Ruth Tarbox; his son David Earl Clarke Jr.; his siblings, Tom, Sam Truax and Jane Gausman; and his son-in-law Herbert Tucker.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah O'Connell (Galen), Dawn Chestnut (William), Mary Tucker, Martha Clarke, Faith Buchanan (David) and Matthew Clarke (Faith); and his siblings, Clair Slawson, Carl Slawson, Norman Buchanan, Paul Truax and Jean Beckhorn.
